Senior Accounts Payable Analyst – Shared Services

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Shared Services team. This role is responsible for managing vendor and customer master data within SAP, as well as reviewing and monitoring employee travel and expense reports in Concur. The position plays a key role in maintaining data accuracy, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency in accounts payable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update vendor and customer master data in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Review, audit, and process travel and expense reports in Concur, addressing discrepancies and ensuring policy adherence.
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, and HR to support vendor/customer onboarding and data maintenance.
  • Monitor expense submissions for compliance, duplicate entries, and potential fraud.
  • Provide documentation and support for audits related to AP, master data, and expense processing.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation and workflow enhancements.
  • Assist in training employees on Concur usage and expense reporting policies.
  • Prepare reports and metrics to track data quality and process efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications (Required):

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance operations.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (or similar ERP) and Concur.
  • Strong knowledge of travel/expense policies and master data governance.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Shared Services or multi-entity/global finance environment.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Esker, Power Automate, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or Microsoft Forms.
  • Knowledge of OCR technology and workflow exception handling.
  • Background in internal controls, audit compliance, and data privacy.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based role with cubicle environment.
  • Occasional travel to other sites as required.

Compensation:

Typical salary range: $60,000 – $75,000 annually, with eligibility for overtime. Final offer will depend on experience, education/certifications, and other job-related factors.
