Job Title: Auditor

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Auditor to join a fast-paced, growing, and successful privately-owned public accounting firm. In this role, you will work closely with clients to provide audit and assurance services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, has strong analytical skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality client service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of financial statements for clients in various industries.

  • Review accounting records, internal controls, and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.

  • Prepare audit workpapers, supporting schedules, and documentation in accordance with professional standards.

  • Identify and communicate audit findings, providing recommendations for process improvements.

  • Assist clients with compliance requirements, accounting inquiries, and financial reporting issues.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

  • Stay current on accounting standards, auditing regulations, and industry trends.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • CPA designation preferred, or actively pursuing CPA licensure.

  • 1–3 years of public accounting or auditing experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with accounting software a plus.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
