💰 Pay Rate: $18/hr+ & Ascendo Benefits
⏳ Term: Temp-to-Perm (Est. 90 Days)

About the Role
Ascendo is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to support our client in the manufacturing process. This role is critical to building mechanical assemblies accurately and efficiently. Assemblers prepare and complete work by studying assembly instructions, parts lists, blueprints, and schematics to produce high-quality assembled products.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and schematics
- Follow production order descriptions (PODs) to assemble finished products
- Analyze mechanical and operational aspects to assemble components correctly
- Identify and gather parts required for each project
- Follow instructions from engineers and supervisors regarding process changes
- Download programs to required equipment as needed
- Inspect assembled products to ensure quality per specifications
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate problems to supervisors or engineers
- Recommend engineering change requests (ECRs) to improve processes
- Write assembly procedures for final products
- Perform other duties to support the success of the team and company
Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of related assembly experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical school experience a plus
- Ability to read and write English
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy
- CAN-DO attitude and ability to drive projects to completion
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to mentor or assist less experienced team members
