Accounts Receivable Analyst (Shared Services)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst with strong cash application experience to join a high-volume finance team within a Shared Services environment. You'll play a critical role ensuring payments are applied accurately and efficiently, helping improve cash flow and support AR operations.

What You’ll Do

Cash Application & Reconciliations

  • Apply customer payments (ACH, wire, lockbox, credit card) daily.
  • Research unapplied/unidentified cash and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Perform customer account reconciliations and support month-end close.

AR Operations Support

  • Maintain accurate customer account records and audit documentation.
  • Partner with Credit & Collections to resolve account issues and improve cash flow.
  • Assist with continuous improvement and AR automation initiatives.

Reporting

  • Prepare weekly/monthly cash application reporting.
  • Support internal/external audit requests as needed.

📌 What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Associate degree (Accounting, Finance, or related field)
  • 3–5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • Strong cash application experience
  • SAP experience in a multi-entity or high-volume environment
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Shared Services experience
  • Experience with automation tools or process improvement (Lean / Six Sigma)
  • Familiarity with lockbox processing and electronic payment formats
  • BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • SOX/internal controls experience
