A leading Non-profit organization is seeking a Director of Budgets to partner closely with the CFO in leading the annual operating budgeting process, as well as the development and management of programmatic, grant, and contract budgets (NYC DHS).

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain effective relationships with key funding contacts to resolve financial and budgetary matters efficiently.
• Partner with program and department leaders to develop budgets aligned with organizational goals and funding requirements.
• Provide training and guidance to department managers and program teams on budget management and financial planning best practices.
• Oversee the submission of timely budget modifications and adjustments.
• Lead and develop the Budget team, including direct supervision of the Budget Manager and Senior Budget Analyst.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, including experience in non-profit or public accounting.
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience managing financial teams.
• Strong experience in budget creation, monitoring, and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Polished communication
