Title: IT Systems Administrator

Location: Aventura, FL

Mon-Thurs Onsite – Fridays remote

Salary: $110k - $120k + Benefits + Performance bonus

Overview

IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing our existing IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. This role will also play a key part in planning and executing our migration to Azure.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Windows Server administration, VMware, SQL Server management, and cloud technologies.

Required skills

-          5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration, VMware, and IT infrastructure management.

-          Hands-on experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.

-          Strong knowledge of SQL Server (administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery).

-          Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.

-          Experience administering Google Workspace (G Suite) and Slack in a business environment.

-          Knowledge of networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching).

-          Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance in financial services is a plus.

-          Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.

-          Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

-          CompTIA Security+ or other cybersecurity certification 

Nice to Haves - PLUS:

-          Prior experience overseeing small teams, vendors, or IT projects.

-          Exposure to IT budgeting, procurement, and strategic planning.

-          Experience designing or helping plan cloud migrations (Azure or AWS).

-                      Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.

-          SQL Server (administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery)

-          Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

-          VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
