Overview

Our client is seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk / Data Entry Specialist to support a large document clean-up and reconciliation project. This role is perfect for someone who is highly detail-oriented, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and eager to build hands-on experience in accounting operations.

You’ll be working onsite with high volumes of AP documents, scanning and organizing records, and verifying transactions against the company’s accounting system. This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to develop a strong foundation in Accounts Payable and general accounting workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan and digitize large volumes of AP documents

  • Accurately organize, label, and file digitized records

  • Compare scanned documents against data in the accounting system

  • Identify, flag, and report discrepancies

  • Assist with cleanup and organization of historical AP files

  • Support the AP team with additional tasks throughout the project


Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Comfortable performing repetitive, high-volume document tasks

  • Basic understanding of accounting or Accounts Payable processes preferred

  • Strong initiative, willingness to learn, and reliable work ethic

  • Good communication skills
