Ascendo is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Cash Applications professional for an opportunity located in Alpharetta. This role will focus on high-volume AR functions, accurate cash application, and B2B customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply customer payments accurately and timely, including ACH, wire, checks, and lockbox activity

• Reconcile unapplied cash and research payment discrepancies and short pays

• Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate AR aging

• Communicate with B2B customers regarding payment status, remittances, and account inquiries

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and cash posting issues

• Utilize ERP systems to document transactions and maintain financial records

• Assist with month-end close related to AR and cash application activities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field highly preferred

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable and cash application experience

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems required

• Oracle Fusion experience highly desired

• Strong B2B customer communication and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume transactions
