Our esteemed client in Franklin County, PA. The Senior Financial Analyst provides analytical and financial support to the Vice President of Finance, with a strong focus on revenue and gross margin performance within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for analyzing monthly actual results for Aftermarket units, supporting product cost analytics, and leading the creation, consolidation, and system loading of budget and forecast data in Oracle EPM. The Senior Financial Analyst also delivers ad hoc financial analysis and reporting from ERP and consolidation systems to support corporate, tax, legal, and audit requests.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue and Gross Margin Forecasting

• Lead revenue and gross margin forecasting for Aftermarket businesses, including annual plans, quarterly updates, and ad hoc projections.
• Establish and enhance forecasting processes and tools.
• Analyze actual performance versus established targets and identify drivers of variance.
• Coordinate forecasting inputs and outputs with intercompany and cross-functional partners.

Product Cost Analytics

• Partner with the Operations Finance Director to develop tools and processes to analyze and communicate product cost trends.
• Support analysis of material, freight, and outsourcing initiatives.
• Model changes in factory activity and assess financial impact.

Month-End Close Support

• Analyze Wholegoods, Aftermarket, and miscellaneous revenue and costs during the month-end close process.
• Prepare assigned journal entries and supporting analyses.
• Support Regional VP Finance in explaining variances, projecting trends, and analyzing period-over-period changes.

Sales and Commercial Analysis

• Support regional sales teams with backlog reporting, performance analysis, and financial modeling of sales programs and initiatives.
• Analyze results against established sales and margin objectives.

Business Process Improvement

• Represent Regional Finance on cross-functional teams focused on process optimization, internal control improvements, and evaluation or documentation of technology solutions.

Special Projects

• Participate in and support special initiatives related to corporate reporting, external audits, and regulatory or compliance requirements.

Training and Knowledge Sharing

• Support the development and delivery of training on finance and accounting concepts, metrics, and initiatives across the Accounting group and Americas region.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including lookup functions, pivot tables, and financial/business process modeling.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation systems such as BaaN, HFM, Oracle, Oracle EPM, and/or Infor.
• Database and reporting experience using tools such as Access and Power BI.
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills with the ability to present effectively to all levels of the organization.
• Ability to organize and synthesize complex data for thorough evaluation of business issues.
• Proven root-cause analysis skills with actionable recommendations.
• Strong sense of ownership and follow-through to resolution.
• Collaborative mindset, with a strong ability to partner with Operations Accounting and Sales Administration.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 6 +years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
