Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Boca Raton, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Onsite)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily accounting operations. This role is responsible for processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely payments while maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and audit vendor invoices and AP vouchers

• Code invoices to correct GL accounts and periods

• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies

• Assist with payment processing and month-end close

• Maintain accurate AP records and documentation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience with GL coding

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

Work Environment

• Office-based role

• Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed
