We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support full-cycle accounting and assist with key financial activities in a dynamic, growing organization.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a hybrid work schedule and exposure to both accounting operations and financial reporting.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Support full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, month-end close, and general ledger maintenance

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Assist with financial data analysis to support business decisions

• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests

• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams

Requirements of the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 4+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in a full-cycle role

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles

• Experience assisting with budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis preferred

• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
