Assembly Technician

The Assembler I role involves assembling a variety of subassemblies and finished products within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing functional testing, quality inspections, and ensuring products meet required specifications and delivery timelines. The Assembler I plays a key role in supporting efficient production operations and maintaining quality standards.

Essential Functions

  • Follow established safety rules and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to determine proper assembly methods.

  • Assemble a variety of components using hand tools and power tools.

  • Verify dimensions, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts.

  • Perform basic mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper fit and operation.

  • Conduct operational and functional tests according to product checklists.

  • Perform visual inspections to confirm compliance with quality standards.

  • Identify, document, and correct assembly defects or discrepancies.

  • Accurately document assembly processes, test results, and quality issues.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, including adherence to 6S principles.

  • Record daily production data.

  • Assist with training and supporting less experienced team members.
