A logistics company based in Sweetwater, FL is seeking a skilled FCL Traffic Coordinator to manage and streamline the movement of full container load shipments. You'll oversee the end-to-end coordination of FCL shipments, communicate with carriers and clients, resolve in-transit issues, and ensure compliance with documentation and regulations. Your attention to detail and logistics expertise will help keep freight moving smoothly and efficiently across international routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage timely pickup and delivery of FCL shipments

  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customers to confirm shipment details

  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork

  • Track shipments and proactively communicate status updates to stakeholders

  • Collaborate across departments (sales, ops, customer service) to streamline processes

  • Monitor shipment progress and escalate delays or issues as needed

  • Ensure regulatory and policy compliance throughout the shipping process

  • Maintain accurate shipment records and assist in cost and carrier performance analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, or a related field

  • Familiarity with FCL shipping terminology and processes

  • Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field

  • Ocean freight or international shipping experience

  • Understanding of customs regulations and compliance practices

  • Multilingual communication skills, especially Spanish

  • Logistics certifications (e.g., Certified Logistics Associate)
