Legal Assistant - Onsite (Tampa, FL)

About the Role

We are recruiting for a highly organized and detail oriented Legal Assistant in Tampa, FL. This role is fully onsite and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced legal environment and has hands-on experience with iManage document management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals.
  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and filings.
  • Manage and organize electronic and physical case files using iManage.
  • Coordinate scheduling, meetings, court deadlines, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with e-filing in state and federal courts.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm information.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal team members.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar role.
  • Proficiency with iManage is required.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formats.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday in the Tampa office.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in litigation, corporate law, or another specialized practice area.
  • Previous work in a law firm or professional-services environment.
