Property Accountant

📍 Woodbury, NY 11797 | Full-Time | On-Site

💰 $90,000 – $110,000

 A growing commercial real estate management firm is seeking a Property Accountant to join its collaborative accounting team in Woodbury, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a stable and expanding organization that offers strong mentorship and advancement potential.

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close for a portfolio of commercial and retail properties
• Prepare accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Handle tenant billing, accounts receivable, and invoice processing
• Communicate with tenants and landlords regarding account inquiries
• Maintain accounting schedules and reporting in Excel
• Utilize Yardi and AI tools to support accounting operations

 Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Property Accounting or public accounting experience
• Real estate experience preferred
• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
• Experience with Yardi and strong Excel skills preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

 Compensation & Benefits:

• $90K – $110K base salary + discretionary bonus
• Fully paid individual health insurance
