This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving technical problems in the field, traveling, and being the go-to person customers trust after a system is installed. The company is growing quickly and needs someone who can help support installations, troubleshoot equipment, train clients, and represent the business professionally on-site. This is not a desk job. This is a true boots-on-the-ground role for someone with strong multi-trade experience across electrical, plumbing, PVC/CPVC, mechanical systems, equipment installation, and field service. You’ll be joining a growing company at an early stage, where your work will have a direct impact on how the field service process is built and improved. When traveling, all business expenses are covered, and daily travel-related necessities are reimbursed. When not traveling, the employee can work remotely or from the company’s Pompano Beach office, depending on preference. Key Responsibilities• Install, assemble, commission, and service water filtration/purification systems at customer sites across the U.S. and Mexico. • Perform hands-on electrical wiring, plumbing connections, PVC/CPVC work, mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, testing, and preventive maintenance. • Start up and commission systems by verifying utilities, conducting functional testing, checking safety controls, and confirming proper system performance. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, layout drawings, technical manuals, and installation documentation. • Diagnose and repair equipment issues involving pumps, valves, sensors, fittings, controllers, motors, VFDs, plumbing components, and electrical systems. • Train customers after installation on system operation, routine maintenance, safety procedures, and best practices. • Serve as the face of the company on-site by communicating clearly, setting expectations, providing updates, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. • Maintain accurate service reports, work orders, parts usage, expense logs, and installation documentation. • Partner with internal teams including operations, engineering, project management, sales, and technical support to improve service processes and customer outcomes. • Support remote technical troubleshooting through phone and video calls when needed. What We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate is someone who is mechanically inclined, technically sharp, professional with customers, and comfortable traveling frequently. This person should be able to work independently in the field while also communicating well with customers and internal teams. Required Qualifications• 3+ years of experience in field service, equipment installation, industrial maintenance, service technician work, or a similar hands-on technical role. • Strong multi-trade experience across electrical, plumbing, PVC/CPVC, and mechanical systems. • Experience with equipment installation, startup/commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs. • Ability to read electrical schematics, technical drawings, P&IDs, manuals, and installation documents. • Strong customer communication skills and the ability to train end users after installation. • Comfortable traveling approximately 65% across the U.S. and Mexico. • Valid passport required. • Valid driver’s license required. • Must be local enough to complete initial on-site training in Pompano Beach, FL. • Must be able to work safely in industrial environments and follow proper safety procedures. Preferred Qualifications• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus. • Experience with water filtration, water treatment, sanitation systems, chemical generation systems, process equipment, or industrial equipment. • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, flow/pressure gauges, sensors, pumps, valves, or controls troubleshooting. • OSHA, LOTO, or related safety training. • Experience using CRM, CMMS, service ticketing, or work order systems.
