Position Summary
We are seeking a Change Management Lead to support a high-visibility Skills Transformation Program. This role will lead the people side of change to ensure successful adoption of new skills-related processes, roles, tools, and ways of working across the organization.
The Change Management Lead will develop and execute a comprehensive change strategy that drives stakeholder alignment, organizational readiness, leadership engagement, communications, and user adoption. The ideal candidate is experienced in enterprise transformation and excels at translating project complexity into clear adoption actions for leaders, HR partners, and end users.
This role will work closely with Organizational Effectiveness, project leadership, HR, communications, instructional design, SMEs, and business stakeholders to ensure employees understand why the change is happening, what is changing, and what they need to do differently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the change management workstream for the Skills Transformation Program from planning through implementation and sustainment.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy and plan aligned to project goals, milestones, and business priorities.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments to identify affected groups, change risks, and support needs.
- Create and manage readiness, adoption, and reinforcement plans for impacted audiences.
- Partner with project leadership, TM, OE, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on change objectives, sponsorship, and decision-making.
- Build and execute communication strategies and messaging tailored for leaders, managers, HR teams, and employees.
- Develop sponsor engagement plans and equip leaders with talking points, FAQs, and tools to lead change effectively.
- Identify organizational resistance, adoption risks, and barriers; develop mitigation strategies and escalation plans.
- Establish feedback loops to gather employee and leader input throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor change adoption metrics, stakeholder engagement, and readiness indicators; adjust plans as needed.
- Support change governance, reporting, and leadership updates on risks, progress, and adoption status.
- Help embed sustainment actions to reinforce new behaviors, processes, and accountability after go-live.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading change management for enterprise initiatives, transformation programs, or large-scale process/technology changes.
- Proven success developing and executing change strategies in complex, cross-functional organizations.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, communications, readiness planning, and adoption measurement.
- Strong facilitation, consulting, and influence skills.
- Ability to work across multiple levels of the organization, including senior leaders, SMEs, and frontline groups.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
