Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee and grow an established customer base throughout Central and Southern New Jersey. This is a fully remote position with regular travel throughout the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with experience managing, developing, and motivating sales teams while driving both new business development and existing account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, mentor, and develop a team of sales representatives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Drive new business development while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
  • Track sales activity, KPIs, and performance metrics using CRM and internal reporting systems.
  • Ensure the sales team maintains required activity levels through a combination of in-person and phone-based customer interactions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders throughout the territory.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales management experience.
  • Proven experience leading, building, mentoring, and motivating sales teams.
  • Experience within convenience store, retail distribution, consumer products, foodservice, or a related industry preferred.
  • Strong business development and account management skills.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems and sales performance tracking tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout Central and Southern New Jersey.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory.
  • Gujarati and/or Hindi language skills are a plus.
