Production Associate

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join their growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling and packaging filtration components and related products within an industrial warehouse environment.

The typical schedule is Monday through Thursday, ten-hour shifts, with Friday through Sunday off. Overtime may be required based on business needs. This opportunity offers career advancement, progressive pay increases, shift differentials, and quarterly bonus incentives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assemble and package components, products, and associated hardware.
  • Read and interpret job orders, work instructions, and inspection standards to ensure quality production.
  • Safely operate hand tools and portable power tools to install, tighten, and adjust fasteners according to specified requirements.
  • Safely operate pallet jacks and hand trucks when required.
  • Accurately complete and maintain production records, job orders, quality documentation, and other required paperwork.
  • Demonstrate accountability, strong job ownership, and a commitment to customer service.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and meet established performance expectations.
  • Keep production and warehouse areas organized, clean, and safe.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Follow all applicable safety, PPE, and quality/environmental management standards and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and reliability.
  • Strong reading and writing skills.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to safely and efficiently use basic shop tools, including tape measures, wrenches, screwdrivers, and portable power tools.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work for extended periods in an industrial warehouse and production environment.
  • Ability to navigate uneven walking surfaces and work around motorized industrial equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally climb ladders or work at elevated heights.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, which may include safety glasses, hearing protection, and respiratory protection.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly perform activities such as climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, and working at waist level.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds regularly.
  • Must have adequate hearing, vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, mobility, and manual dexterity to safely perform the essential functions of the position.
