Job Summary

We are seeking an Accountant to support the accounting team of an established manufacturing organization. This position will support month-end close, product costing, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and general accounting activities.

The ideal candidate will have previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and hands-on experience with product costing and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations

• Assist with product costing and cost analysis

• Perform inventory accounting and reconciliations

• Review and research inventory discrepancies

• Support general ledger accounting activities

• Analyze accounting and manufacturing data

• Work closely with accounting and operations teams

• Assist with reporting and other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• Previous Staff Accountant, Cost Accountant, or similar accounting experience

• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred

• Product costing experience required

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience with inventory accounting

• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) preferred

• Month-end close experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
