Shipping & Receiving Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk for an immediate temporary opportunity in West Palm Beach, FL. This position supports daily shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Details

• Location: West Palm Beach, FL

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Pay: Starting at $20/hour

• Type: Temporary

• Start: Immediate

• Benefits available through staffing agency

Candidates with more senior-level shipping and receiving experience are also encouraged to apply, as higher-paying opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities

• Pack, label, and prepare parts and products for domestic and international shipments

• Perform crating and vacuum packing of machines and equipment

• Generate shipping documents using ERP systems

• Create and process shipping labels through UPS and FedEx platforms

• Verify outgoing shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentation

• Weigh, measure, and inspect items to ensure shipment accuracy

• Properly package mixed merchandise to prevent damage during transportation

• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming materials

• Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain accurate material flow

• Prioritize critical orders to ensure on-time shipment

• Coordinate pickups and drop-offs with outside vendors

• Monitor and maintain shipping and packaging supplies

• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records

• Follow applicable shipping procedures and regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous shipping and receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience

• Experience with UPS and/or FedEx shipping platforms preferred

• ERP system experience is a plus

• Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks preferred

• Comfortable handling, packing, and preparing industrial equipment and materials

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet shipping deadlines

• Must be immediately available to start
