Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee high-caliber federal and state corporate and partnership returns.
• Examine corporate income tax provisions for both SEC and private entities.
• Oversee compliance projects end-to-end, from budget allocations to resource management.
• Facilitate and inspect ASC 704 preparations.
• Mentor and manage staff, ensuring top-notch quality in their deliverables.
• Assess performance of junior staff members.
• Propose strategic improvements to enhance departmental efficiency.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with both new and existing clientele, showcasing genuine interest in their business dynamics.
• Conduct thorough research and craft insightful memos on corporate tax intricacies.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution, specialization in taxation is highly desired.
• CPA accreditation is highly desired.
• 7+ years of experience in a supervisor or leadership role
• Exceptional communication acumen, both written and oral.
• Agility to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, deadline-intensive environment.
• Capability to bridge communication between Audit and Tax divisions and clientele.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with GoSystem and Axcess is a PLUS!
• Keen analytical prowess.
• Proven capability to oversee engagements to fruition.
• Sound judgment coupled with a self-driven approach.
• Effective coaching skills, particularly for sizable teams.
• Proven mastery in nurturing client rapport.
