Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Boca Raton
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting with a Big Four firm, as well as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. This role will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Close Process: Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and safeguard company assets.

Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating the annual audit process and addressing any audit findings.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.

5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role and experience in a Big Four firm preferred.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
