We are seeking a skilled and motivated First Party Property Insurance Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on first party property claims. Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in first party property insurance defense cases, including litigation and pre-litigation matters.
  • Analyze and evaluate claims, conduct thorough investigations, and develop effective legal strategies.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in state and federal courts.
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, and trial preparations, including witness preparation and exhibit management.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Stay up-to-date on legal developments and trends in insurance law.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal services and contribute to the firm's growth.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in first party property insurance defense.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida insurance law and civil procedure.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to client service.
