About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with account reconciliations, financial accuracy, and advanced Excel skills to support daily accounting functions and month-end close processes. This role requires a high level of organization, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations (bank, credit card, AR, AP, payroll, and intercompany accounts).
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries and adjustments as needed.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support management decision-making.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros, etc.) to track, analyze, and report financial data.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and reconciliations for external auditors.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, with a focus on account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting practices.
• Experience with [insert accounting software, e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar].
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
