Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Corporate and Business Litigation Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team in the Orlando area. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional legal administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our litigation practice while delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of legal administrative tasks, including document preparation, filing, and maintaining case files.
  • Assist attorneys in managing case deadlines, court filings, and discovery processes.
  • Conduct legal research and gather information relevant to ongoing cases.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, attorneys, staff, and peers.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and attention to detail.
  • Utilize information technology systems and research tools to support litigation efforts.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of law firm and business litigation processes and procedures.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to integrity, excellence, and client service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a legal assistant, preferably in corporate or business litigation.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and information technology systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy.

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
