Role: General Labor

Location:  Stockton, California

Pay: 24/hr

Hours:   5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

General laborers are workers who take up various supporting tasks in warehouses, construction sites or other settings such as manufacturing factories. According to this general laborer definition, these workers may have an important assisting role in manufacturing Dunnage using corrugated cardboard.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety guidelines and instructions Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
• Be willing to work in a team environment helping team members to accomplish daily production demands
• Handle and transport materials such as glue and corrugated cardboard during the manufacturing of Dunnage
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks Help with setting up work areas as needed per supervisor’s direction

Requirements:

• Commitment to safety rules
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary
