Job Summary: The HR Coordinator will support the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The role will involve a wide range of HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. This position is integral to maintaining our company's culture and supporting our workforce.
Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Coordinate job postings and advertisements for open positions.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct reference checks and background verifications.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and training sessions.

Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts, escalating complex issues to the HR Manager as needed.
- Promote positive employee relations through effective communication and problem-solving.

HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Process employee changes, such as new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information.

Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in audits and ensure adherence to company policies.

Training and Development:
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Track employee training progress and maintain training records.
- Support the development and implementation of employee development programs.

Benefits Administration:
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Coordinate communication and education efforts related to employee benefits programs.
- Work with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure effective benefits administration.

HR Projects and Reporting:
- Support HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement surveys, performance management, and wellness programs.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and presentations for management review.

General Support:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
