Overview: As a Corporate Accounting Manager, you will oversee the financial accounting and reporting activities of our organization. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in our financial operations, contributing to the overall financial health and strategic decision-making of the company.
Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to senior management and external stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to develop accurate forecasts.
- Monitor budget-to-actual performance and provide variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization.

Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and implement improvements as necessary.

Financial Analysis:
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making on business initiatives, investments, and strategic planning.
- Identify key performance metrics and benchmarks to measure financial performance and drive operational efficiencies.

Taxation and Insurance:
- Oversee tax compliance and planning activities, working closely with external tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
- Manage insurance-related matters, including policy renewals, claims, and risk management assessments.

Consolidation:
- Lead the consolidation process for financial statements across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
- Coordinate intercompany transactions and reconciliations to eliminate discrepancies and facilitate smooth consolidation.

Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively and provide guidance to ensure team members perform their duties accurately and efficiently.

Advisory Role:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations to provide financial expertise and support on various projects and initiatives.
- Participate in strategic discussions to assess financial implications and provide recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Strong experience in taxation, including compliance and planning.
- Familiarity with insurance management and risk assessment.
- Solid understanding of consolidation processes and intercompany transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bilingual is a plus
