Responsibilities:

  • Production Scheduling:

    • Establish and manage schedules for multiple production lines efficiently.
    • Adapt schedules in response to production issues, raw material shortages, customer order changes, and sales volume fluctuations.
    • Forecast production to optimize efficiency, including run rates, changeover requirements, and delivery cycles while minimizing inventory levels and shortages.
  • Coordination and Optimization:

    • Collaborate with Procurement and QA departments to optimize costs and ensure quality standards.
    • Coordinate USDA samples and R&D test runs, ensuring timely communication and execution.
  • Reporting and Communication:

    • Provide regular and accurate reports to all levels of the organization.
    • Maintain clear and effective communication channels across departments.
  • Purchasing and Inventory Management:

    • Plan, track, and place orders for packaging materials using MRP reports, Excel spreadsheets, and inventory management systems.
    • Ensure adequate inventories during peak periods such as hot dog season, coordinating closely with Production.
  • Inventory Control:

    • Process and audit all production orders and daily inventory transactions.
    • Conduct weekly cycle counts and reconcile variances between physical and book inventory.
    • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate consumption reporting.

  • Multi-tasking: Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: Thorough and precise in inventory tracking and scheduling.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: MS Office proficiency, familiarity with ERP systems and inventory control soft
