We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AP Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our real estate portfolio by processing invoices, managing vendor relations, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will be a key contributor to our team's success!

Responsibilities

• Process invoices related to real estate operations (rent, maintenance, property taxes, etc.) for accuracy and completeness
• Verify purchase orders and receiving reports for real estate properties
• Code invoices according to our company's real estate-specific chart of accounts
• Manage vendor relations for real estate vendors and inquire about any discrepancies
• Prepare and issue outgoing payments for real estate-related expenses
• Reconcile bank statements for accounts associated with real estate properties
• Maintain detailed records of all real estate-related AP transactions
• Assist with month-end closing procedures for real estate accounts

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable (AP) or a similar role
• Proven experience working in the real estate industry (a plus)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and real estate accounting practices
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi Voyager)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
