About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and organized Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including:

• Maintaining and updating accounting records and files
• Processing financial transactions and posting them to the general ledger
• Reconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Preparing financial reports and supporting schedules
• Researching and resolving accounting discrepancies
• Staying up-to-date on accounting standards and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a staff accountant role
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
