About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying data, and ensuring timely payments to our vendors. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and promoting strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Verify data against purchase orders and receiving reports
• Ensure all payments comply with company policies and procedures
• Maintain vendor accounts and contact information
• Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
• Prepare reports on accounts payable activity (as needed)
• Assist with month-end closing procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) a plus
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
