Product Acceptance Specialist 

Location: Hialeah Gardens

Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm

Pay: $23/hr

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Product Acceptance Specialist to join our quality team. The role involves verifying product conformance to design specifications, performing audits, identifying and documenting discrepancies, and controlling non-conforming items. The ideal candidate will conduct inspections, oversee documentation accuracy, and provide mentorship to inspection team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct dimensional inspections per design specifications and visual inspections for defects.
• Review and verify certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 standards.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
• Disposition and control non-conforming products, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
• Perform audits and surveillance to maintain quality standards.
• Utilize inspection tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, in daily operations.
• Identify and report repetitive or significant non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
• Mentor inspection team members to improve overall quality processes.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related experience
• Combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of quality assurance inspection methods, including First Article Inspection.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with tools such as calipers, ring/pin gauges, comparators, and smart scopes.
• Familiarity with AS9100 requirements.
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Must pass documented color and near vision exams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a related field is preferred.
