Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Job Summary:
The Accounting Clerk supports the finance and accounting department by performing a range of general accounting tasks. These include maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with reconciliations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry of financial information into accounting systems

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts

• Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and purchase orders

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation and filing systems

• Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements

• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing or payment issues

• Assist with internal audits and budget tracking

• Perform general administrative duties to support the accounting team

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
