We are seeking an experienced and bilingual HR Generalist with a strong focus on Employee Relations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices and employment law, recent experience conducting workplace investigations, and the ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion. This individual will be a key partner to management in driving HR initiatives, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, handling complaints, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

Conduct thorough and objective workplace investigations, particularly in cases involving discrimination or misconduct allegations.

Provide guidance to managers on performance management, corrective actions, and employment law compliance.

Ensure company policies and procedures are applied consistently and in accordance with employment regulations (FLSA, ADA, ADEA, EEO, etc.).

Maintain confidentiality of employee records, investigations, and sensitive HR data.

Assist in the development and delivery of training sessions on HR-related topics.

Support broader HR initiatives, including onboarding, engagement, retention, and compliance tracking.

Collaborate with vendors, external organizations, and cross-functional internal teams to support HR operations.

Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage documentation and reporting.

Obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) within 90 days of start date.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an HR Generalist, with emphasis on employee relations and handling disciplinary matters.

Proven experience conducting discrimination-related workplace investigations.

Solid working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Advanced communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Intermediate to advanced fluency in Spanish (written and spoken).

High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive matters.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks.

Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and follow established protocols.

Comfortable with flexible hours, including extended shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).

Current SHRM or HRCI certification (PHR, SPHR, GPHR) is a plus.
