A boutique accounting and advisory firm that specializes in tax, audit, and business consulting services is seeking an AR/Billing Manager to join their team. This is a hybrid role, 4 days on-site in Hauppauge with an annual salary of $70,000-$75,000.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in managing Accounts Receivable, billing, credit, and collections
• Exceptional Excel skills
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online

Responsibilities:

• Client Billing & Receivables: Manage onboarding and contract terms, prepare recurring and milestone invoices, apply retainers, process payments, and oversee collections. Maintain schedules of expected income and tax-related logs.
• Reconciliations & Financials: Align billing activity with company records, generate A/R aging reports, review balances with management, and prepare consolidated forecasts and statements. Monitor system charges and calculate commissions.
• Communication & Coordination: Act as the main contact for billing inquiries, participate in weekly review and collections discussions, and ensure invoices are properly submitted through external systems.
• Controls & Oversight: Keep master records and logs current, periodically verify engagement amounts, and handle related administrative and financial tasks as assigned.
