Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Branch Manager Assistant with experience in the electrical industry to support day-to-day operations at our branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the branch runs smoothly by assisting with scheduling, documentation, customer service, and office coordination — all within a fast-paced, technical environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain filing systems and organize records in accordance with company standards

  • Retrieve information from records, email, meeting minutes, and other documents

  • Prepare written summaries, reports, and internal communications as needed

  • Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries in a professional manner

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel for managers

  • Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and distribute relevant documents

  • Manage office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment

  • Track expenses, manage petty cash, and support basic financial recordkeeping

  • Collaborate with team members to support overall branch operations

  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an administrative or office assistant, preferably within the electrical, construction, or utilities industry

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

  • Basic knowledge of clerical procedures and recordkeeping systems

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset

  • Adaptability and willingness to handle varied tasks in a dynamic work environment


Preferred Experience:

  • Background working with or supporting electrical contractors, engineering teams, or utility companies

  • Familiarity with electrical terminology, service workflows, or job site documentation

  • Experience assisting project managers or operations teams in technical settings
