Job Summary
This position will be responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting activities as detailed below, assist with month-end close and reconciliation process, and assist with process improvements to better scale company growth in the future. This individual will play a support role in the company’s annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a rapidly growing, PE owned business. Ideal candidates for this role should have strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, self-initiative, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks as well as build scalable processes to support the company’s organic growth or growth through M&A.
This role has great potential for the right candidate to expand their experience base by participating in M&A and integration processes, as well as potential for growth within the finance and accounting department as the company successfully completes their strategic initiatives to grow organically and through M&A.
Essential functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. • Involved with bank reconciliations, accrual-based journal entries and balance sheet
reconciliations to assist with the month-end close process in a multi-company
environment.
• Responsible for inter-company transactions and reconciliation between companies.
• Support future audit and treasury reporting requirements.
• Continuous pursuit of process improvement opportunities
• Maintain and update fixed asset register and deprecation for both book and tax, including
Construction in Progress account.
• Collaborate with/support FP&A Manager as needed for preparation of budgets, forecasts,
etc.
• Assist Controller with developing support schedules for audit and tax returns.
• Senior Accountant role reports to the Controller
• Other duties as assigned
Required education and experience.
•
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
•
Minimum of four years direct relevant work experience with month-end closeprocesses, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.

Experience working for a manufacturing company, inventory accounting knowledge.
•
Ability to deliver accurate results while working under time sensitive conditions.
•
Capable of managing competing priorities while still completingroutine daily/weekly/monthly tasks on time
•
Self-motivated and comfortable working in fast paced and dynamic environment,strong attention to detail
•
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
•
Effective verbal and written communication skills
•
Experience working in ERP systems.
•
Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Preferred education and experience
•
Experience working in a start-up environment and/or for a PE owned business.
•
Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP system
