A privately held real estate investment and management firm is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of shopping plazas and retail centers located throughout Massachusetts and New York. This position is field-based and requires frequent property visits, so candidates must have hands-on experience with construction or facility operations. Residential Property Managers will not be considered for this opening. 

Responsibilites: 

• Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and construction activity for a portfolio of retail centers. 
• Conduct regular property inspections and prepare detailed reports on physical condition and operational needs. 
• Solicit, review, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts and service agreements. 
• Supervise vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to ensure quality and timeliness of work. 
• Monitor vendor performance and adherence to scope and budget. 
• Foster strong tenant relationships and address service issues promptly 
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and assist with financial forecasting. 
• Review and process vendor invoices, tenant bill-backs, and other financial documentation. 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial retail or shopping center properties. 
• Strong background in construction oversight, facility maintenance, and general understanding of building systems and costs. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines. 
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Yardi, Avid, Skyline, or MIR software is a plus. 
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
