Our client, a sustainable and growing company is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks Desktop experience to support daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries including AP, AR, bank transactions, and credit card postings
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure clean, organized financial data
• Process vendor payments, manage collections activity, and verify invoice accuracy
• Prepare month-end reporting and support basic financial analysis
• Coordinate with leadership on cash flow, outstanding balances, and accounting questions
• Maintain organized documentation and support basic audit or year-end preparation
• Assist with payroll entries and benefits tracking as needed
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies and accounting best practices

Qualifications

• 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (required)
• Experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
