Part-Time HRIS Project Specialist

Industry: Banking / Financial Services

Location: On-site (3 days/week – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week

Overview

A financial services organization is seeking a part-time HR Administrator with strong technical skills to support daily HR operations and assist with the rollout of a new HRIS platform. This role is fully on-site three days per week and focuses heavily on hands-on system work, data accuracy, and employee support during the implementation.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HR system
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and routine HR workflows
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, system access, and personal data
  • Run and validate HR reports
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team

HRIS / Technical Support

  • Assist with HR system configuration (fields, forms, permissions)
  • Enter, update, and verify employee data directly in the system
  • Conduct and document testing during HRIS implementation
  • Identify and escalate system issues or inconsistencies
  • Support employees during rollout, including login and navigation help
  • Create simple user guides, checklists, and step-by-step instructions

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of HR administrative experience
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems (ADP, UKG, Paylocity, BambooHR, Workday, etc.)
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort navigating digital systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with sensitive data
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on-site Tuesday–Thursday

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HR system implementations, migrations, or upgrades
  • Familiarity with HR workflow design or configuration
  • Experience troubleshooting HR system issues for employees
