Overview
 $18 - $18/hour Florida -- Sarasota  Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Logistics Clerk to join our warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating the efficient movement of products, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining smooth daily shipping activities. This role involves hands-on warehouse tasks as well as administrative responsibilities related to shipping and inventory.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, verify, and process all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, labels, and packing lists

Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately for shipment

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and RF scanners

Schedule outbound and inbound shipments with carriers and freight companies

Track orders and update internal systems to ensure timely delivery

Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy

Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping or receiving issues

Maintain detailed and organized records of all shipments

Follow all safety procedures and support a clean, efficient warehouse environment
Qualifications:

Prior warehouse experience required

Experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and RF scanners

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with shipping systems preferred
