We're looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to handle high-volume collections, customer account management, and payment processing. This role involves direct communication with customers regarding past due invoices, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accounts are accurately maintained and up to date. Daily responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling accounts, sending statements and invoices, and making a high number of outbound collection calls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage high-volume collections by contacting customers with overdue invoices

• Research and resolve customer inquiries and payment discrepancies

• Monitor and analyze customer accounts for irregularities or non-payments

• Maintain accurate records and customer notes in the system

• Post cash receipts, apply payments accurately, and handle overpayments/refunds

• Coordinate account activations and credit hold releases

• Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

• Assist with dispute resolution and account adjustments as needed

• Perform journal entries for related transactions

• Support general AR functions such as mailing invoices, filing, and data entry

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Corporate Collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas)

• Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage, Oracle, or SAP

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
