Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership & Scheduling
- Oversee daily field operations across all service areas; coordinate with dispatch to ensure prompt response and efficient technician deployment.
- Monitor job progress and adjust resource allocation in real-time (24/7 coverage).
- Team & Performance Management
- Lead and mentor plumbing crews; conduct regular training, stand-ups, and performance reviews.
- Enforce quality control: inspect completed jobs, uphold safety and compliance standards.
- Customer Satisfaction & Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for escalated issues, ensuring quick resolution and customer satisfaction (upfront quotes, service warranty follow-through).
- Collaborate with office staff to streamline communication and follow up.
- Budgeting & Inventory Management
- Manage service budgets and analyze job profitability.
- Track and reorder equipment, materials, and parts; negotiate with suppliers for best pricing.
- Compliance & Process Improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Evaluate and implement operational best practices, from trenchless tech to hydro-jetting systems
- Reporting & Analytics
- Develop KPIs to measure team productivity, response times, job completion rates, and customer feedback.
- Use performance data to identify issues and drive continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in plumbing operations or similar field-service management roles.
- Strong leadership with team-building, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Budgeting expertise and comfort analyzing P&L metrics.
- Solid understanding of trade-level plumbing systems, trenchless technologies, and emergency services.
- Excellent communication across technicians, office staff, suppliers, and clients.
- Experience with project management, CRM, and inventory software
- Familiarity with Florida plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across the service area.
