A leading broadband provider delivering high-speed internet to rural and underserved communities across Texas is expanding its footprint in Hillsboro and surrounding areas. We are seeking a motivated, community-oriented In-Home Specialist / Door-to-Door Sales Representative who thrives in small-town environments, enjoys meeting new people, and can represent a growing brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

This role combines direct door-to-door sales, community engagement, and customer onboarding support for new installations. Ideal for someone who is independent, personable, and excited to make a real impact by helping families and businesses gain access to reliable internet.


Territory Requirements (Must Reside In or Near):

Candidates must currently live in one of the following Texas communities:

  • Hillsboro

  • Itasca

  • Milford

  • Italy

  • Mertens

  • Frost

  • Blooming Grove

  • Alvarado

Occasional travel may be required to: Corsicana, Kaufman, Ferris, Lorena


About the Role

This is a 40-hour/week full-time position with the flexibility to structure your day. When not out meeting residents or supporting installations, you may work remotely from home.

You will be the local face of a mission-driven broadband provider bringing affordable internet access to rural counties. Your day may include canvassing neighborhoods, following up on warm leads, supporting the customer installation process, and building ongoing relationships in the community.


Compensation & Perks

  • $35,000 base salary

  • Up to $3,125 monthly commissions (≈ $80K OTE annually)

  • $400 monthly vehicle allowance

  • Laptop with dual monitors provided

  • Full benefits starting the 1st of the month following start date

  • Biweekly salary + monthly commission payouts

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door outreach to residents and small businesses within assigned rural communities

  • Introduce broadband service offerings and educate customers on available packages

  • Achieve a minimum of 25 customer connections per month (after initial 30-day ramp-up)

  • Build trust and rapport within small-town communities; represent the brand at a local level

  • Assist with customer service quality checks and ensure a smooth onboarding experience during new installations

  • Work independently to organize your schedule, pipeline, and follow-up activities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service questions and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Must live within the required counties listed above

  • Valid driver’s license + reliable personal vehicle

  • Ability to pass a background check (7-year MVR review) and drug screening (including marijuana)

  • Must enjoy community-based fieldwork and meeting residents face-to-face

  • Flexible schedule for occasional community events or travel to nearby towns
