The SAP AP Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the accounts payable process using SAP. This role ensures accurate invoice processing, timely payments, compliance with internal controls, and effective collaboration with internal departments and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and payment requests in SAP with accuracy and timeliness

Perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, and receipt) and resolve discrepancies

Maintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with company policies

Review and reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger

Manage payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers

Research and resolve invoice exceptions, payment issues, and vendor inquiries

Monitor AP aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items

Support month-end and year-end close activities related to accounts payable

Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and support

Identify process improvement opportunities and support SAP system enhancements

Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and accounting policies
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

2+ years of accounts payable experience with SAP

Strong understanding of AP processes and accounting principles

Experience with invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations in SAP
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Preferred Skills

Experience with SAP FI module

Knowledge of 3-way matching and procurement-to-pay (P2P) processes

Familiarity with SOX controls and audit requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
