We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our client's team on a contract basis. This role ensures compliance with payroll processing, wage laws and maintains accurate records.

This role is fully onsite in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll reports and ensure compliance on a weekly/biweekly basis 
• Review timesheets, verify job classifications, and handle payroll discrepancies
• Maintain accurate payroll records and collaborate with the department manager as needed 

Requirements

• 2+ years of payroll experience in the Construction Industry 
• Certified payroll processing is a plus
• Strong knowledge of prevailing wage laws, employee type requirements, and payroll software
• Close attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines
