We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Licensed NJ Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations with a strong focus on medication preparation and compounding. This role works closely with pharmacists and nursing staff to ensure safe, accurate, and compliant patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, fill, and compound medications using standard formulas and processes, including weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Maintain the pharmacy in compliance with USP <797> standards, including cleaning, testing, maintenance, and re-certification of the prep room, ante room, and clean room.
• Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies needed by both pharmacy and nursing teams.
• Provide drug usage reports to pharmaceutical partners as requested.
• Coordinate pharmacy services with nursing staff to ensure safe and timely patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance and patient safety programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacist.

Schedule & Location:

• Fully onsite, Monday–Friday, 9:00– 5:00
• Temporary 6-month assignment with possible extension
• Location: Totowa, NJ

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
• CPhT certification preferred.
• Compounding experience required.
• Sterile compounding certification preferred.
• Sterile compounding experience strongly preferred.
