Ascendo Resources has partnered with a company in Florida seeking a full-time Fixed Asset Accountant.  This is a HYBRID role with 3 days in office after training period. 

As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will have direct responsibility for:

• Recording fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.
• Working with stakeholders to track the compilation of project costs, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.
• Reconciling the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.
• Conducting periodic reviews of fixed assets across several locations nationwide.
• Conducting analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management.
• Representing the company during any audits by a government that involve fixed assets.
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes related to fixed assets.

Requirements

• Understand GAAP Guidance for Fixed Assets
• Bachelor’s and/or Master Degree
• CPA preferred
• Good computer skills, in particular for Netsuite and Microsoft Excel
